Your hunt will start in Yellowknife with a one hundred and sixty mile, ninety-minute float plane trip to a comfortable camp located in the heart of caribou country. The Bathurst Caribou herd currently numbers in excess of 500,000 animals which enables this camp to boast a ninety-eight percent success rate over the past 10 years and consistently produces many trophy bulls that qualify for the SCI and B&C record books. During the hunt you will be transported by boat to locations with the largest concentration of animals then hunt spot and stalk in the eskers and ridges which provide ideal ground cover for stalking to within bow or rifle range, this terrain is generally dry and quite easy to hunt Accommodations include comfortable heated wall tents with wooden floors, a large kitchen tent with a full time cook adds to the enjoyment of the hunt with excellent meals of local cuisine from caribou and freshly caught fish.
