Fly to a remote camp in the wilderness of Northern Alberta, where the black bear hunting and fishing is as good as it gets. Multiple camps are spread throughout this exclusive 5,000 square mile area and are only accessible by boat, floatplane and helicopter. Tree stands are positioned at traditional bait sites and all allow the bear hunter an excellent view of the bears as they approach. Spot and stalk is also used for bears feeding along the lakeshores. Color phase bears in this area normally average 25% from dark chocolate brown to light blond and glacier blue. Spring weights average from 250 to 325 pounds with skull measurements from 18 to 20 inches. This is a 7-day 2 black bear hunt with Spring dates scheduled from early May through late June. Spring bear hunts may be combined with fishing for northern pike, walleye and lake trout. Fall bear hunts may be combined with fishing and moose. 7-day 2x1 Canada 2 Black Bear Hunt $5,495 CDN Hunt package includes air charter and return from Fort Smith, NWT camp, accommodations and meals while in camp, bear tags, wolf permit, fishing license and all taxes.
