Prince William Sound in southeast Alaska is a pristine wilderness partially surrounded by the Chugach National Forest, the second largest forest in the United States. This unspoiled wilderness is convoluted with many islands and fjords, several of which contain tidewater glaciers with several principal islands forming the sound. This region of southeast Alaska is home to countless species of marine life and one of the largest carnivores on the North American Continent ~ the Alaskan brown bear. Your brown bear hunt begins with reception at the airport by your host and a short ride to the waterfront where you will board a 50-foot yacht that will provide your transportation to the hunt area and serve as your lodge during the 10-day hunt. After a great meal and a good night rest aboard the yacht you will enter the hunt area by skiff, glassing along the mountain sides and in the estuaries that make up the shoreline of Prince William Sound. 2012 Brown Bear Hunts (full) 2013 Brown Bear Hunt Click on dates above to request information or to reserve a spot.
